On Monday, October 22, 2007, many of the Brady Center's committed supporters joined together to honor three well-deserving award recipients at the newly opened Times Center. It was truly an unforgettable evening in which we honored Nick Brown, Managing Director, GFI Group Inc., Jackie Rowe Adams and Jean Corbett Parker, founders of Harlem Mothers S.A.V.E, and Detective Sergeant Pat Kissane of Fort Lee, NJ.
Also taking part in the program were Chief Thomas Ripoli of Fort Lee, NJ, Michael Gooch, Chairman and CEO of GFI Group Inc., and Rev. Dr. Arnold Isidore Thomas of Riverside Church.
During the evenings' festivities we all enjoyed an incredible video piece produced by MJM Creative Services, which focused on the Brady Center's recent victories in grassroots activism and federal legislation. A live auction and raffle featuring exclusive items and packages added to the excitement of the evening.
The Brady Center was proud to receive such generous donations, and would like to thank all our supporters, volunteers and auction donors for their time, energy and commitment to Standing Up for a Safer America! Special thanks are due to Tri-State Action Committee Co-Chairs Carrie McCully and Nick Brown, and to Amy Pines and Yvette Siebel for their assistance with the auction.
