What a wonderful evening – from tribute to call to action! The Brady Center celebrated the courage, determination and commitment of area activists in the wake of the Virginia Tech shootings one year ago.

We counted over 200 guests – including Brady allies in Congress, Senators Edward Kennedy and Frank Lautenberg and Representatives Jim Moran and Patrick Kennedy – who came together to honor activist Abby Spangler, Col. Gerald Massengill, and the Virginia Tech victims and families. Brady's efforts to pass common sense gun laws are stronger because of these individuals, their families, and friends.

The Brady Center was proud to receive such wonderful financial support, and would like to thank all our volunteers and donors for their time and commitment to Stand Up for a Safe America! If you would like to support the Brady Center now, please click here.
