On Monday, October 24, 2011, friends and supporters of the Brady Center gathered at the Bohemian National Hall for the Brady Center Gala in New York hosted by our donors and supporters.

With the appearance of NY Jets player, Plaxico Burress, who had scored 3 touchdowns for his team just the day before, the event was exciting and a great success!

We honored the film Living for 32, featuring Colin Goddard, Producer Maria Cuomo Cole and Director Kevin Breslin. We were also pleased to honor NYPD law enforcement hero, Det. Ricky Ramirez, with the James S. Brady Law Enforcement award.

The event was hosted by designer and supporter, Kenneth Cole and Brady Acting President, Dennis Henigan.

Our thanks to everyone who supported the event and helped make it such a success.

The speakers highlighted the need to improve American gun policies in a powerful and moving way.

On Tuesday, October 19, 2010, friends and supporters of the Brady Center gathered at the Cedar Lake Theater for the Brady Center Gala in New York hosted by our donors and supporters. The event was a great success!

We honored Robert and Michelle King, Producers of "The Good Wife" as well as activist Gloria Cruz, the NYC Million Mom March Chapter Co-President and Robert Salerno, NYPD law enforcement hero. The event was hosted by NFL Great, ESPN Analyst, and Brady Board Member, Marcellus Wiley.

On October 6, friends and supporters of the Brady Center gathered at the New-York Historical Society for the Stand up for a SAFE AMERICA gala in New York City. The event was a great success!

We honored advocate Carole Stiller, President of the NJ Million Mom March Chapters, celebrated the accomplishments of Cory Booker, Mayor of Newark, NJ and honored the memory of Detective Russel Timoshenko of the New York Police Department.
